You don’t need to be talented to get success
Admit it or not but you don’t need to be talented or smart to become successful in the life however it will be an added advantage though not necessary. It is not a deniable fact that some people come with inborn talent and skill which make them successful, whereas we tend to ignore their hard work and dedication. It is impossible to ignore the natural talent and the ability of some people who are meant to born for this. For example, bodybuildings where genetics play a vital role, but not all successful bodybuilder are blessed with good genes which again proved that it is not necessary. The problem with 99 percent people is they want to become successful without stepping out from their comfort zone, and most importantly their lack of willingness to achieve the goal are the reasons behind their unsuccessful dream. Here are some facts about successful people that prove you don’t need to be talented to get success.
- They see from a different view
Successful people are rare, and this is because of their different approaches towards the life. Common people tend to believe that they must have special skills to achieve something in the life, whereas successful people understand the value of dedication and hard work. Instead of complaining, a successful try to find an opportunity from a problem h/she is facing whereas we never become bored by saying that our life is hard and we can’t do anything. For them, there is no right time to start something they love to do, and they know if they can’t do it right now, it will be difficult to do it in future as well, whereas normal people wait for the right time that never comes in their life. You see most of the famous people are coming from the background which is hard to imagine by seeing their current status from Dhirubhai Ambani to Rihanna, Eminem, Irfan Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and the list goes on, and the only difference is their views are different towards the life. They can face any challenge that comes in their path and most importantly, they never satisfied with limited success and resource, even if makes them comfortable. Their initial starting may seem weird to others, but they never care about other people opinion even if they don’t know if it will lead them towards the success or not. A passionate person doesn’t care about money even if it makes him/her underpaid because he does it for the sake of passion, not for the money.
- They focus on skills
Not everyone is blessed with inborn talent, and successful people are not different either, and in fact, most of them don’t have any talent. However, their focus is more on to improve the skills rather than talent because they understand that without any skillset, it is impossible to survive no matter how much talents they have. They know how to turn the talent into skill. For example, painting, playing a musical instrument, writing, and singing are not just talent, but more dependent on practice. The more you spend the time to improve, the more you become expert in it. A successful salesman doesn’t become successful overnight, and it doesn’t come with talent rather than years of experiences and practice which give him success. They never stop learning and in fact practice it often and always hungry for the knowledge to improve their skill.
- They never satisfy with achievement
The most important factor of a successful person is their hunger to achieve more, and they believe that it comes through lots of dedication and hard work. For them, each achievement is a step to uplift their career and life ahead, but it’s not the end. Normal people want to inform others about their hard work and dedication even if the achievement is small whereas they have some different mindset because they know that chest thumping doesn’t give them anything except wasting the valuable time. They know that it’s not an achievement if you have to say others about it. Their action speaks louder than voice, and if the result is big people will recognize it automatically. They always see the bigger picture and think ahead of time, and never satisfied with some limited skills and achievements.
- They understand the value of time
We always complain about the lack of time to complete a task or to plan something and tend to believe that one day is not enough for us whereas for them it’s about 24 hours and is enough to complete everything. We spend our time by gossiping, watching televisions, wasting more time on social media and most of the time sleeping even without feeling tired and still cry for the lack of time. In case you want to achieve something, you have to manage the time from the beginning, and it starts with the morning routine. From Shah Rukh Khan to Richard Branson, the common factor between them is their morning habits. They all wake up early and spend it to improve themselves by doing meditation, yoga, workout, taking a healthy breakfast, thinking about the whole day plan and most importantly giving some quality time to themselves because this is the best time when no one is going to disturb. Most of the successful people spend at least half an hour to read something; from books to newspaper everything that is related to their work and personal life. It’s not about professional life always, you have to manage the time for personal life as well. Like waking up early, sleeping habit also has an impact on the daily life and if we don’t have enough rest then it will take a toll the health. For an average person, six hours sleep is enough but that doesn’t mean going to the bed at 2 AM and waking up 8 AM which will make you feel tired whole day. The objective of a successful person is to follow a disciplined life.
Success is not an achievement, in fact, it’s a habit that comes with hard work, dedication and a disciplined life, and it’s never related to talent. If talent is the only factor then we would never see a college dropout as a billionaire. The only difference is that their view is different than common people. The more you understand, the less would be difficult to achieve the desired goal in your life.
